Amin Tejani
President

Amin A. Tejani is a visionary real estate developer and senior IT leader with over 30 years of experience. He holds an MBA and advanced leadership certifications from MIT and Cornell. Currently the Vice Chairman of the Platinum Federal Credit Union, Amin has also served as Chairman of the Aga Khan Foundation USA Southeast Region. His accolades include the Dr. Lawrence Community Service Award from Kaiser Permanente and commendations for volunteer service from Georgia and Maryland.

Imtiaz Bhayani

Imtiyaz Bhayani, an entrepreneur since 17, holds a Bachelor’s in Commerce and a Business Administration certification. His diverse ventures include jewelry, gas stations, cell phone accessories, and beauty salons. Now an international restaurateur, he operates multiple establishments as both franchisee and franchisor. Committed to social welfare, Imtiyaz actively supports his community and serves as Vice President of the Aasha Foundation, making a positive impact through his leadership and dedication

Fatima Raiyani

Fatima Raiyani
Honorary Secretary

Fatima Raiyani, with a Master of Science in Physiology and a Bachelor of Education, transitioned to accounting after 13 years of teaching. She has served as Chairperson of the Women’s and Social Welfare Board, Director at Georgia Dispute Resolution and the Atlanta Retailers Association, Deputy Regional Coordinator of the Aga Khan Foundation USA Southeast Region, and Board Member for Conciliation and Arbitration. Fatima is eager to bring her diverse experience and passion to this organization

Navina Assar

Operations Director

Navina Ajani Assar, a seasoned banking professional with over 30 years of experience, is currently Vice President at a prominent financial institution. With 25+ years in construction lending management, she oversees multi-million-dollar projects nationwide. Navina holds an associate degree and certifications in financial risk, lending, and banking management. Her expertise includes construction portfolio management and loan documentation. Dedicated to community service, she volunteers with senior citizens and served as Honorary Secretary and Chairperson of the Southeast Aga Khan Social Welfare Board from 2013 to 2019.

Almas Jamani holds a Master’s degree in International Business Law (LLM) and has held key leadership roles in community institutions in both India and the U.S. She has served in various professional capacities, showcasing a strong commitment to community development. In addition to these leadership roles, Almas is also a successful businesswoman, bringing extensive experience and dedication to every project. Her passion for advocating women’s causes and her extensive work with marginalized communities further reflects her dedication to uplifting underserved populations.

Imtyaz Isani

Imtyaz Isani is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and community leader. He earned top honors for his bachelor’s in commerce from Goa University and an MBA from Southern Cross University in Australia. Moving to the USA in 1998, he acquired his first jewelry store by 2000, expanding into ventures including jewelry stores, cell phone stores, salons, gas stations, fast-food franchises, and real estate projects. Imtyaz actively supports organizations like AKDN, AKF, and the Akshaya Patra Foundation. He enjoys golf, snooker, and cricket in his leisure time

Rahim is a seasoned real estate developer and investor with over 20 years of experience in property management, acquisition, and development. With a strong background in accounting and finance, he has successfully expanded real estate portfolios and driven organizational growth. As a co-founder of multiple foundations and a board leader, Rahim blends financial expertise with a commitment to community development. He has served as loan committee chair and Chairman of the Board at Platinum Federal Credit Union and is currently an advisory committee member of the Atlanta Retailers Association and a founding board member of the Sahara and Baraka Foundations.

Shahenaz Dayani holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a certification in Travel and Tourism. Her educational background has been instrumental in managing multiple businesses in the Convenience store industry. Over the past 30 plus years, Shahenaz has worked extensively in community services, focusing on social welfare initiatives for senior citizens and women’s development. She has also been deeply involved in religious education, serving as both a principal and teacher, contributing to the spiritual and academic growth of students. Her dedication to community service and empowerment has made a lasting impact on the lives of those she serves.

As a founding board member of Helping Hands of Southeast, Inc., Mr. Charania saw the potential in our pool table to make a meaningful impact.
