The center is a senior day care program run by volunteers and managed by Helping Hands of Southeast, a 501©(3) non-profit organization.
Who can attend Evergreen Center?
The center is open to Shia Imami Ismaili Community seniors aged 65 and older. Seniors must register to attend.
What are the operating hours of Evergreen Center?
Evergreen Center is open Monday through Thursday from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Closed on holidays.
What types of activities are offered at the center?
We offer a range of activities including creative arts and crafts, physical wellness programs, indoor games, gardening, music and various social events.
Are meals provided at the center?
Yes, we offer delicious catered meals and snacks. Seniors with dietary restrictions should bring their own food.
Is there a cost to attend the Evergreen Center?
There is no cost to attend, as the center is run by volunteers and all donations go directly to program services, with ZERO administrative expenses.
What kind of social events are held at the center?
We host regular social gatherings to foster community and friendship among participants.
What educational programs are available?
We offer comprehensive educational programs designed to support both physical and mental health.
How can I donate to Evergreen Center?
Donations can be made via check, EFT, or credit card online. Please make checks payable to Helping Hands of Southeast.
Are seniors with disabilities or dementia eligible to attend?
Seniors with disabilities or dementia need to apply in advance for approval. Once approved, they must always be accompanied by their own professional caregiver.
Is transportation provided to and from the center?
Currently, we do not provide transportation services.
NOTE: All members are required to adhere to the center’s policies and procedures. We reserve the right to deny membership.
